Our Services
Smart, Sustainable Landscapes
At Garden Life, our experienced designers and fine gardening crews follow the guiding principle: "Work smarter, not harder." With thoughtful design, proper implementation, and strategic follow-up care, garden maintenance can be significantly reduced within just a few growing seasons.
Beyond Sustainable—Ecologically Regenerative
Our gardens are more than just sustainable; they are living ecosystems that regenerate and thrive on their own. Once established, these landscapes:
Create their own soil and natural mulch
Provide essential food and shelter for wildlife
Heal and resist plant diseases naturally
Require no additional watering or irrigation
Educating & Empowering Our Clients
We believe in collaborative gardening—educating our clients so they can take an active role in nurturing their landscapes. Whether you want to be hands-on or simply enjoy the beauty of your garden, we equip you with the knowledge to support its long-term success.

With a wide range of skills and expertise, Garden Life is here to help you achieve your landscape and garden goals—big or small. Whether you're looking for consultation, design, enhancement, or ongoing care, our team is committed to bringing your vision to life.
New Hampshire Home Features
“There are separate gardens on the property, but we want it all to feel continuous,” says Sliter. “She has worked with the Freemans for several years, and assists in the ever-evolving process of maintaining and improving the gardens In the rock garden, she used bulb plants such as dwarf irises, miniature tulips and crocuses. Within the rock garden is a smaller alpine garden with gentia, lewisia, a collection of heathers and a rare alpine opuntia (prickly pear cactus) that Sliter says is not often successfully cultivated.”
“Landscape designer Lizette Sliter, owner and founder of Garden Life in New London, specializes in garden rejuvenation projects, landscape design and seasonal care. When she has clients who want tulips in their gardens, she warns of the difficulties. ‘We begin with educating people of the obstacles since so many animals enjoy the tulip’s flower, foliage and bulbs for a tasty meal,’ Sliter says. ‘If you live in a deer yard, perhaps another choice of bulb is the best decision.’”
