March Newsletter 2025

Melting of Winter

Winter, a lingering season, is a time to gather golden moments, embark upon a sentimental journey, and enjoy every idle hour.
— John Boswell

What we’ve been working on

Despite all the snow on the ground, we’ve already started planning for our Spring and Summer annual plantings. We carefully design the layouts for each of our clients' summer containers. So when it’s time to plant, our crew knows exactly what to place in each container, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.

They go from looking like this to…

To this!!

Our order has been placed with our trusted grower, so everything will be ready when it’s time to plant!

New Crew Members

We had a great crew in 2024! You will again see many familiar faces in the 2025 season. We are also focusing on bringing in more talented team members to bring in new experience and knowledge.

We are excited to have brought on a new Landscape Designer, Pete Theroux, to the team. Pete brings over a decade of expertise in landscape architecture and stormwater management. With a master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of New Mexico and years of experience running a design-build firm in the Southwest, Pete now crafts master plans and intimate gardens tailored to New England’s unique environment.

We are also thrilled to announce that Lex Colpack, a familiar face around the garden, has been promoted to Field Crew Manager! Having been with us since 2021, Lex brings valuable experience and enthusiasm to this new role and we can’t wait to see her continue growing the Garden Life way!

We’re back on social media, thanks to Hannah Ashton, who joined us last season as a new Enhancement Crew Lead. In addition to her role, she will be stepping up as our Social Media Manager and putting together monthly newsletters. Stay tuned for exciting updates!

We are still hiring for the 2025 season! Please share if you know of any talented gardeners to join our team!

Plant of the Month🌿

Heleborous: Brighten up your garden with this stunning, hardy beauty! Known for its early blooms and vibrant colors. It will bloom with snow and ice still on it. Great for part sun to shade gardens.

Commonly known as hellebores, the Eurasian genus Helleborus consists of approximately 20 species of herbaceous or evergreen perennial flowering plants in the family Ranunculaceae.✨

Enjoy the snow while it’s still here! If you have any mid-winter dreams about your garden that you’d like to discuss, please reach out.

All our best,

The Garden Life Team
